Entry Requirements
Age requirement

To study at Danford College, all international students must be at least 18 years of age or above when the course starts.

Academic requirements

All international students must meet a minimum academic requirement to gain admission to Danford College. Danford College requires the successful completion of studies equivalent to Australian Year 12 education as the minimum level of entry into our courses.

English Requirements

International students must provide evidence of English language proficiency to Danford College. Students must have a minimum score of an internationally recognised English test.

RPL/Credit Transfer
Credit Transfer

Credit Transfer is recognition for study you have already completed. To be granted a Credit Transfer, you must:

  • Be enrolled in the relevant program at Danford College
  • Submit a filled-out Credit Transfer Application Form to Danford College
  • Provide Danford College with certified copies of your qualifications, a Statement of Attainment or a Statement of Results

Course Credit

Course Credit is a form of assessment through which we may recognise the skills you may have gained through formal qualifications from other institutions in Australia. To be granted a Course Credit, you must:

  • Have Qualifications and Statements of Attainment from other institutes conducting
  • Australian Nationally Recognised Training
  • Provide other evidence of competency in the units of the course (submitted on or before enrolment)

Applicants are advised that a Course Credit may result in the shortening of the Student Visa duration and the reissuing of the Confirmation of Enrolment to reflect this change.

Recognition of Prior Learning

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is a process that recognises your current skills and experience regardless of where and when the learning has occurred.

Your application can be based on any combination of formal or informal training and education, work experience, or general life experience.
