Internship Placement and ACS Professional Environment (PE) Online After the successful completion of the Face to face classes students move to a 10 – 12 week of Industry placement through an internship.
Danford’s internship placements help you apply your learning in the real-world, acquire new skills and grow your industry network. We ensure that each host company understands how best to assist you to achieve your professional development goals.
PY students must undertake the online ACS Professional Environment (PE) that runs at the same time as your internship (after week 32 of your course).
To successfully complete PE online course, you must:
• Be based in Australia for the entirety of the PE Online Course.
• Have a Danford approved internship placement
• Allocate 8-10 hours of study per week;
• Actively participate in weekly discussion forums and groups;
• Complete all weekly quizzes;
• Submit all assignments on time;
• Attend and submit three ACS event reports as directly by the ACS tutor.
The ACS Education Team will be informed on a weekly basis in regard to student participation and possible course issues such as student progress, academic misconduct, and noncompliance.
